Microvia
Also referred to as blind vias, is a via that usually starts on an outer layer and does not pass completely through the board.
Buried via
Similar to micro via but is usually symmetrical in the centre of the board.
Via in pad
Usually, but not always, a microvia in a component pad which is either copper or resin filled before being planed flat and plated to give a smooth, flat pad.
Back drilling
Drilling the unused portion of a via (or TH pad) barrel in order to remove the stub.
Impedance control
Controlling of trace widths and spacing to reference plane(s) in order to manage the electrical properties of a net. This can be single ended or differential.
Antenna layout using Coplanar Wave Guides
A continuation of the impedance control mentioned above, but using multiple reference planes that contain slots to provide a coaxial effect.
Flexi rigid PCB
Standard construction PCBs interconnected by an integrated flexible section, this removes the need for interconnecting cables, thus reducing assembly time and improving reliability.
Variable layer count flexi-rigid
As regular flexi rigid but the rigid portions have different number of layers. Without the appropriate CAD capabilities this can be difficult to manage.
